Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Information and Communication Studies within UCD School of Information and Communication Studies.
The School of Information and Communication Studies (ICS) is a diverse, interdisciplinary and fully research active school. Faculty within the school lead key national multimillion euro research infrastructure (e.g. SFI ADAPT Centre, SFI INSIGHT Centre, ML Labs, D-REAL Centre for Research Training) with faculty also part of the HCI@UCD group, one of the largest HCI research groups in Ireland. As a member of the iSchool consortium, the School is committed to high quality interdisciplinary research and teaching of information related subjects. ICS is now looking for an Assistant Professor to support our programmes, focusing on, but not limited to, the increasingly popular, nationally unique, and internationally recognised MSc in Human-Computer Interaction programme and to contribute to the research and activities of the HCI@UCD group within the school. We invite applications from scholars who can contribute to and expand our strengths in research and teaching in Human-Computer Int eraction and other programmes in the School. In particular, this position will support research and teaching related to the MSc in Human-Computer Interaction, MSc in Information Systems, MSc Communications and Media, and MSc Digital Policy.
95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €60,261- €95,425Per Annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
