About the Role:
You’ll be joining the successful Sport and Exercise Sciences team, home to top ranking Sport and Exercise Sciences courses (Guardian League Table) and the Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences, located in the Faculty of Science and Engineering on our Cambridge campus. We are forward-looking and enthusiastic, with a vision that combines commitment to a strong and active research culture with excellence in learning and teaching.
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our Sport and Exercise Sciences team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their research programme, will be delivering teaching and learning across the discipline, and will have particular expertise in the area of Biomechanics.
The successful candidate will have – or be nearing completion of – a PhD in a relevant discipline, and experience of successful teaching in a higher education setting. They will have the opportunity to support and contribute to our courses, and will demonstrate the ability and desire to contribute to the school’s research and associated scholarly & consulting activities, as well as to administration across the School.
