The Nutrition Department, Norwich Medical School is looking to appoint a new team member to work on a BBSRC funded rodent intervention studies. The position is to provide maternity cover on a project which is delivering a series of rodent studies to examine the ability of HRT and dietary strategies to mitigate the neurocognitive impact of menopause according to APOE4 genotype status. The role will involve animal husbandry and cognitive assessment and may involve some animal surgery and the processing of animal biological samples. Experience in working with rodents is desirable.
In addition the successful appointee will be asked to contribute to other ongoing projects and the training of students as needed.
This full-time, fixed term post is available immediately for six months to cover a period of maternity leave.
