Join our Research Team in Hydrogen Technologies
Are you a passionate, forward-thinking engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering? Do you have a strong track record in academic research related to hydrogen or hydrogen carrying fuels? If so, we invite you to apply for a prestigious PhD scholarship in a cutting-edge research project in the field of hydrogen integration for accelerating energy transition.
You will be part of our research team in the National Hydrogen Research Hub (HI-ACT). The research team aims to generate hydrogen technology roadmaps for the full spectrum of hydrogen technologies as well as many use cases open to stakeholder feedback and evaluation. We want to co-create with stakeholders a national strategy that maximises the impact of hydrogen and alternative liquid fuels for UK priorities with respect to both national and international markets. This will involve identification of high priority investments, refining the evaluation criteria of an inclusive hydrogen and alternative liquid fuels energy transition, and prioritisation of a research strategy for maximum impact into addressing the barriers to a scalable economy.
Academic Background: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Research Experience: Successful candidates should have a demonstrated interest in and contributions to academic publications related to research on hydrogen or hydrogen carrying fuels.
