Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships in Journalism, Media and Communication
The School of Journalism, Media and Communication at The University of Sheffield welcomes applications from outstanding post-doctoral researchers to the 2024 round of the Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship Scheme.
The School of Journalism, Media and Communication is one of the major journalism research and teaching establishments in Europe. We are committed to a research and teaching programme that takes an increasingly interdisciplinary approach to the fields of journalism, politics, communication, and digital media. We have particular research strengths in the following areas:
We welcome Expressions of Interest from outstanding early career researchers, who meet the eligibility criteria of the Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship Scheme. Specifically, we seek candidates with an excellent academic record; a strong publications profile; and innovative and ambitious research ideas.

Selection decisions will be communicated to applicants by mid-December at the latest.
Selected candidates will be supported in developing their application for a Fellowship, leading up to the submission of applications to the Leverhulme Trust by the scheme deadline of 22 February 2024.
