It is part of the University of Nottingham’s Global University, a world top 1% university (QS Ranking), with co-operation from Zhejiang Wanli Education Group, a key player in the education sector in China. Currently the University has more than 9,000 students and 1,000 staff members from 70 countries and regions worldwide, and the number is still growing.
The Faculty of Science and Engineering is home to nine departments and schools along with 12 research groups across diverse research areas, allowing for multi-disciplinary research and collaborations. There are 132 academic staff from 23 different countries and regions engaging with 3,142 students, including 2701 UG and PG students and 441 PhD students. 16 academic staff are ranked among the top 2% of scientists in the world by the Stanford-Elsevier report and 44.2% of Faculty graduates enter top 10 universities for further studies.
