About Sports Therapy at UoG
Our recently redesigned contemporary courses in BSc and MSc Sports Therapy are designed to make our graduates innovative, evidence based Graduate Sports Therapists (GST). Our courses are accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists and we strive to engage students on key competencies of a GST, alongside a focus on opportunity, employability and business entrepreneurship. This comprehensive Sports Therapy curriculum enables students to combine theory, hands-on experience, critical reflection and professional judgement, as they learn to excel in the latest techniques in Sports Therapy.
You’ll join a university where sport is part of the fabric, be it the extensive and accessible wellbeing and research facilities at the purpose-built Oxstalls campus, the range of sports scholarship packages on offer for students, or the huge array of sports clubs available. Oxstalls is a high-energy campus, where our students train and compete with elite athletes, work in innovative teaching and clinical spaces, and have access to several laboratories, utilised by international, nationaland local sports teams.
Located in the heart of Gloucester, Oxstalls is just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre and Kingsholm rugby stadium, giving you easy access to the city’s amenities and large sporting events.
