We are looking for people across the United Kingdom to support the GPhC Board of Assessors as a Registration Assessment Adjustment Adviser. The roles are offered on a part-time and fixed term basis.
Registration Assessment Adjustment Advisers provide expert advice and guidance to the Board of Assessors to ensure that reasonable adjustments are applied appropriately for candidates sitting the Pharmacist Registration Assessment.
The role:
This is an opportunity for candidates with professional expertise relating to the area of disability to support the GPhC Board of Assessors in ensuring the appropriate application of the Equality Act 2010 (and NI equivalents).
Each year we hold two national registration assessments for foundation trainee pharmacists. Each assessment comprises of two papers. Part 1 is a 40-item calculation paper and part 2 is a 120-item multiple choice paper. More information on the registration assessment can be found on our website.
Registration Assessment Adjustment Advisers will use their professional knowledge and judgement to consider applications for reasonable adjustments from candidates who are sitting the registration assessment. Advisers will work collaboratively on adjustment panels to reach decisions on complex requests. Advisers will also provide advice on the future development of the registration assessment ensuring it is designed with equity, fairness and inclusion built in.
These roles are remunerated (in line with the GPhC’s Associate and Partners fees and expenses policy).

We are interested in hearing from people anywhere in the United Kingdom. Panel meetings take place remotely.
