We are looking to appoint an outstanding non-clinical lecturer to support one of the School of Medicine’s priority taught post graduate teaching areas, Reproductive Medicine.
This individual should have expertise in teaching in reproductive biology, and will be appointed at the level appropriate to qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will join the reproductive medicine group which involves a collaboration between NHS Tayside, Medical School and School of Life Sciences. We run a highly successful face-to-face (F2F) Full Time Taught Post Graduate Masters in Human Clinical Embryo! logy and Assisted Conception since 2014 (www.dundee.ac.uk/postgraduate/human-clinical-embryology-assisted-conception) and a newly launched part-time distance-learning (PT-DL) course in Clinical Embryology and IVF (CEIVF) www.dundee.ac.uk/postgraduate/clinical-embryology- ivf-dl.
As a Non-Clinical lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching (e.g., lectures, workshops, journal clubs, laboratory practical! 2019;s, research project supervision) on these courses. Moreover, the appointee will make a significant contribution to the courses, including recruitment, marketing, dev elopment of online materials, marking and providing feedback of assessments. There will be a significant contribution to scholarship including production of high quality internationally competitive journal articles and to foster interdisciplinary links across the wider University. The reproduction group has a very activ! e interdi sciplinary research program spanning the NHS, Medical School and School of Life Sciences.
