About the Role
Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work on an EPSRC funded project (36 months) developing single-crystal perovskite optical and electronic devices. This project will be carried out in the research group of Dr Lei Su in the School of Engineering of Materials Science at Queen Mary University of London.
About You
Candidates with a PhD degree in Engineering, Optoelectronics, or Physics are encouraged to apply. Previous experience with optical and electronic instrumentation, perovskite optical waveguide experiment and characterization, fibre optics experiment, optical fiber imaging, is essential.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
This post is within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, a large School with strong expertise in material science and engineering, relevant to this post. This is an exciting project building on the previous achievements of the group (e.g., see references 1-3 below). The aim of this project is to develop instrument for single-crystal optoelectronic devices manufacturing and to characterise the performance of the fabricated devices in the lab, as well as to explore the applications.
