The role
The School of Economics at the University of Bristol is seeking to fill several academic posts with outstanding scholars to expand the school’s academic profile in all fields.
We are looking to appoint Senior Lecturers or Associate Professors who will contribute to our strong economics research profile, and who will show a commitment to excellence in teaching and to contributing to the research culture in the School and beyond.
The salary will be competitive and the University currently operates a Recruitment and Retention (i.e. market supplement) policy.

The post holder should have a PhD degree and excellent research background with publications in the very top international economic journals and an independent research agenda that guarantees continuing excellence in publication and a path towards an international leader on the field. In addition, the ideal candidate possesses aptitude and relevant experience to teach with expertise and excellence at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.
