Coventry University has been awarded £1.25M by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to fund a five-year programme of impact activities, starting in April 2023, and we now have an exciting opportunity to join the ESRC IAA Project Team to help support this Impact Acceleration Account (IAA).
This post will provide effective administrative support in the delivery of the IAA programme, helping the team to work with researchers to maximise the impact from our social sciences research at the University.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant team that is passionate about providing impact expertise and guidance to researchers to enact meaningful change in communities and organisations through their research.
You will have a professional and pro-active approach to work, significant administrative experience in relation to project support and be the first port of call for enquiries about the IAA programme.
Helping applicants navigate the application process and liaising with relevant stakeholders, solid customer service skills are essential for this role.
Supporting the work of the ESRC IAA Project Manager, a key part of the role will be monitoring IAA projects against agreed deadlines, milestones, budget and reporting requirements as well as supporting meetings of the Management Committee and Advisory Panel, producing and maintaining electronic files.
In addition, you will prepare monthly and annual budget reports and be confident in organising successful events, managing multiple communication channels and working across different teams. A high level of computer literacy is required as well as good communication and numeracy skills with an excellent attention to detail.

This part-time post of 0.6 FTE is available on a fixed-termed basis, starting ASAP, until 31 March 2028 and will be based at our Coventry Campus with flexible working being available. Interviews will take place mid-January 2024.
