The School of Education at the University of Bristol is seeking an exceptionally motivated individual to join our interdisciplinary and dynamic team at the highly prestigious University of Bristol.
We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced individual at Professor level (Grade M, profile 1e). Successful candidates will join our thriving internationally renowned team of Education specialists and be immersed in our highly ranked research environment (1st in REF 2021) and outstanding teaching programmes (1st in Guardian University Guide 2024).
What will you be doing?
This is a Pathway one role, and the post-holders contribution will span teaching, research, and leadership/administration with the successful candidates possessing research expertise in one of the propriety areas: education in schools technology in education or higher education, with demonstrable experience of teaching on successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and the supervision of students.
The successful candidate will engage with and contribute to the intellectual life of the School developing interdisciplinary and collaborative research bids and scholarly projects (e.g. supporting Early Career Researchers, stimulating research centre activity, etc) and contribute to the development and oversight of teaching courses and progarmmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the School.
