Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow to work with Chunyi Li, supported within the framework of the Royal Society URF\R1\201129 “Stability condition and application in algebraic geometry”.
The overall aim is to extend the use of derived categorical methods and mathematical concepts inspired by string theory and homological mirror symmetry in algebraic geometry and number theory. One particular goal is to develop new inequalities for the characters of tilt-stable objects and apply them to classical algebraic geometry problems.
The post is for up to 18 months, starting on 1 April 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
