The Information Management Group undertakes world-leading research on the effective management of information and knowledge assets, investigating artificial intelligence, big data, social networks, social media, issues of trust and social justice in digital environments, new web architectures, InsureTech, FinTech, knowledge management and much more.

Within the Information Management academic group, we are keen to receive PhD research proposals in the following areas:

At least a 2:1 honours degree (or international equivalent) with a UK master's degree (with average programme mark of no less than 65%) or international equivalent.
English language requirements
IELTS band 7.0 or above with not less than 7.0 in each component.
The studentship is for 3 years and provides a minimum tax free stipend of £18,622 per annum for the duration of the studentship plus University tuition fees.
Please note that studentships will be awarded on a competitive basis to applicants who have applied within the School. Funding decisions will not be confirmed until early 2024.
