An exciting opportunity for a Plumbing Lecturer to join DN Colleges Group.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching and learning and have the drive and motivation to help students to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ability to deliver up to levels 1-3 in plumbing.
You may currently be working in the Construction industry and looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment.
Working as part of the Construction team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of fulltime courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques
You will hold an Assessor qualification or be prepared to work towards one within an agreed timescale. A Teaching and Internal Verifiers qualification are also desirable.
Previous teaching experience would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
