Digital Services are responsible for the digital information, systems and technologies used by staff and students across The Open University. Covering all aspects of digital technology at the OU, from sourcing and maintaining systems, through to providing frontline IT support for staff and students.
The Open University is recruiting a Technical Architect.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect to join the Data Technology team within the Chief Data Office. Reporting to the Senior Data Architect, this is a key architecture function to ensure that solutions and programs are fit for purpose and in line with the larger University picture. You will also liaise with the Director of Data Technology, Senior Architects, Development Team, and various other stakeholders to architect great solutions that enable our staff to deliver fantastic services to our students, contributing to the architecture through delivery.
Although this role is aligned to our Milton Keynes office, we are flexible on location across the UK, with the understanding of occasional ad-hoc attendance onsite.
