The IT Programmes and Digital Transformation Team (PDT) team at Bournemouth University manage delivery of the BU2025 programme of work, this incorporates strategic IT and Business projects. The programme ranges from major strategic projects initiated by Faculties, Professional Services and internally by IT to small requests for enhancements and service improvements.
This position sits within the IT Services Test Team (part of PDT) who are seeking an individual to enhance the approach to testing by delivering high quality services, first time, every time and delivering service excellence for students and business users. This role will have significant input in delivering the testing capability at BU.
You will have detailed understanding and experience of functional and non-functional test planning, including developing and executing test plans and scripts, defect management and reporting. You will have thorough knowledge of manual and automated test methods with proficiency in testing tools.
You will have experience in application, data migration and interface testing and with your highly developed interpersonal skills, you will negotiate, influence and ensure effective communications with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating your ability to engage and collaborate with colleagues at both a business and technical level.
