This 30-months post facilitates, leads, and manages a project to implement a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the University of Portsmouth and Talib Consultancy (UK) Ltd to enhance the international student recruitment process using advanced AI technologies.
A KTP programme is a three-way collaboration between an Associate, a Company and a University. The Associate undertakes and manages a strategic research and development project for the company while being supported by Academic and Industry supervisors. The programme is co-funded by a government grant and the company.
TCL, a Portsmouth-established firm, has an impressive track record in international student recruitment, successfully enlisting over 15,000 students annually for more than 70 UK universities. With a global reach, they maintain offices in over 14 countries.
The AI-based Software/App Developer will be based at TCL premises in Portsmouth and will manage this unique project of developing and integrating novel smart systems.
You will be joining a friendly team based at TCL. In the role, you will be actively supported by knowledge transfer specialists with expertise in AI-based Software/App Developer at the University of Portsmouth.
This appointment is a fixed-term contract 30 months.
