We will be drawing from BU’s reputation for sports science, as well as our expertise in games development and design, to provide students with a wide range of subjects to explore, such as psychology of e-sports, entrepreneurship, marketing, commercialisation, project management, sponsorship, organisation, coaching, health and well-being, team management, and teamworking.
You will be able to demonstrate expertise in one (or more) of the following areas: games design, e-sports commercialisation, streaming technologies, collaborative projects, user experience, data analysis will be welcome.
Enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy, you will contribute to education delivery, including programme management as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will also make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level.
We support our academic staff with a rich personal development programme, seed funds for mobility and networking, grants writing support, internal funding scheme for PhD studentships, and engagement with industry partners and facilities. We have a strong team-based working style and we support new academics in a friendly and collaborative environment and expect them to be excellent team players and communicators.
