We are seeking to make an appointment at Lecturer grade in the area of Robotics. You will be joining a vibrant and intensive research environment with the University of Bristol having been ranked fifth for research in the UK (in the UK Research Excellence Framework in 2021).
The University is investing £500M in a new campus in the heart of Bristol and we have been chosen to host a new £200M UK national supercomputer research facility, focused on artificial intelligence (AI).
The University of Bristol has a longstanding research activity in robotics and jointly runs the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL), which is the largest centre for multidisciplinary research in the UK. BRL offers shared access to world-class facilities including many different robots, components, instrumentation, test spaces, and rapid prototyping.
