Job Summary
The Department of Aeronautics is seeking a highly skilled Researcher in Hybrid Artificial Intelligence enriching academic feedback to join our innovative team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an AI-powered feedback generation platform that revolutionizes the quality and efficiency of the feedback process for student reports.
This post receives funding from the Imperial College’s Digital Innovation Fund and forms part of a collaboration with the Department of Physics at Imperial College London.

Essential requirements
Those appointed at Research Associate level:
Hold a PhD in either a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer science, Mathematics, Physics) or in Education (higher) with a STEM focus, or equivalent research, industrial or commercial experience.
Those appointed at Research Assistant level:
A first / masters degree (or equivalent) in either a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer science, Mathematics, Physics) or in Education (higher) with a STEM focus, or equivalent research, industrial or commercial experience.
Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant.
We are seeking candidates with diverse skillsets but encouraging applicants with expertise in one area, open to developing proficiency in others through this role.
Further Information
Full time, fixed-term contract for 24 months, starting on 1st of August, 2024. Possible extension subject to achieving extra research funding.
