About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Adult/Primary Care/Children’s/Mental Health/Learning Disability nursing to join the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine.

You will deliver and play a significant role in high-quality student experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of adult/primary care/children’s/mental health/learning disability nursing curriculum. In addition, you will maintain excellent standards in learning, teaching, and assessment.

About you

You will be a registered nurse with leadership experience of adult/primary care/children’s/mental health/learning disability nursing, with UK Nursing & Midwifery Council registration to accompany this. You will have experience of working within a higher education setting. You will have excellent emotional intelligence, effective communicator and inspirational leader.

Ideally, you will have relevant HEI experience, underpinned by a working knowledge of contemporary issues in adult/primary care/children’s/mental health/learning disability nursing specialism, with high level awareness of interprofessional agenda. It would be advantageous to have experience of research activity and publications.

You will be an enthusiastic, innovative, and engaging with significant teaching experience. You will have effective communication & leadership style and possess interpersonal skills. Time and workload management skills are a key requirement and strong commitment to the welfare and success of students.
