At Bedford College, we are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) to deliver our initial teacher training programme based at our main Bedford College campus in the heart of Bedford.
Lecturers within our Teacher Education department at Bedford College play a key role in the success of our students and the future of teaching, through:
Ideal candidates will have significant experience of teaching, particularly within Further Education, with a demonstrable passion for teacher development. Experience of teaching PGCE previously is advantageous but not essential.
Candidates must have, and maintain, an awareness of Government policy for initial teacher training, alongside holding the following essential qualifications:
Candidates must also hold a full driving license which allows them to drive in the United Kingdom with access to their own vehicle. Travel across the South Midlands and East of England will be essential to carry out student observations.
