Who we need

As we continue to support our students through their journey with us, we are seeking highly motivated and forward-thinking individuals to help us achieve our ambitions.

This role sits within the Student Services Directorate of Nottingham College and will be based at our new City Hub campus where you will provide a warm and professional welcome over the telephone, via email enquiries and ideally solving queries at first contact.

This important role ensures that all customers receive outstanding customer service, both welcoming and supportive, offering signposting to relevant solutions through the college’s main switchboard for inbound calls, live chat, CRM system and enquiry email system.

What you’ll bring

You will have a confident resilient personality, someone who is passionate in providing an excellent service supporting our students to navigate the college. Signposting to specialist teams is required including student advisors and other services within the College and externally.

- Are you passionate about customer service and believe in first contact resolution?

- Do you have experience in dealing with large volumes of inbound calls?

- Are you resilient in dealing with challenging calls?

- Are you competent in using IT, specifically Microsoft packages, including corporate databases?

- Can you demonstrate experience of having strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)?

- Do you have experience in working in a fast paced, complex and diverse customer focused environment?
