UONL (a partner of the University of Northampton) is an ambitious, teaching-focused provider of undergraduate education, primarily aimed at a widening participation student demographic. Based in the heart of London, UONL’s state of the art campus located in East India hosts students studying subjects related to Business, Health and Social Care, Mental Health, and Psychology.
Growth in demand for our student-focused courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team in Psychology.
We are looking for an experienced lecturer with a solid grounding and experience in psychology. The successful applicant will be employed to lecture on a range of psychology and related modules, with module leading opportunities available for suitable candidates. Our ideal candidate will have a wide suite of subject knowledge that translates to engaging teaching approaches within the classroom. The successful candidate will be familiar with managing virtual learning environments, designing assessments, and the development and delivery of high-quality learning resources. Above all, the successful candidate will be motivated, inspirational, supportive, with a passion for developing our students. All UONL academic staff are required to teach face-to-face on campus.
If you are enthused about your subject, motivated to help students develop their professional knowledge and skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, are capable of working in a high-tempo environment, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at UONL.
You will be qualified to a minimum of Bachelor's degree level in a psychology discipline, and relevant postgraduate qualifications are desirable. A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA. You must have an existing right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restriction or caveat.
To apply, please forward your CV with a cover letter to: academicresourcing@London.Northampton.ac.uk
We reserve the right to close applications early, if we receive sufficient suitable applications to proceed to our shortlisting process.
