We are now looking for a Head of International Business Development to join our team on a full time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

THE ROLE

The Head of International Business Development will work to the International Lead within the Senior Leadership, but will be expected to drive strategy and operational performance.

The Head of International Business Development will be responsible for developing and implementing activities to achieve international student recruitment targets, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across international markets, and ensuring a seamless admissions process for prospective students.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Agent Partnership, Recruitment and Admissions in the delivery of the University’s international strategy, with a particular focus on the recruitment of international students and the development of existing and new international markets.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as a Head of International Business Development, you will need:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Demonstratable leadership and management experience with ability to build and develop high-performance teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships at all levels and with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of international student recruitment, including engagement with recruitment agents and sector bodies.
  • Experience of developing external relationships and developing excellent stakeholder relationships.
  • Evidence of taking ownership of a responsibility or project.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant immigration & UKVI regulations.
  • Strong understanding on international student recruitment and admissions in the UK HE landscape and a successful track-record managing agent-led recruitment.
  • Knowledge of international qualifications.
