Job Description
Candidates with expertise in one or more areas of 2D and 3D animation and interactive media that may include 2D and 3D digital arts, 2D and 3D animation, narrative media, motion graphics, UI UX design, and game design. Experience and practice in the industry, sound design, creative coding, and arts and design are desirable skills that we could use. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a creative practice or research while teaching, managing, supervising, facilitating field trips, tutoring and caring for students and academic promotion.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have a PhD degree or at least a Master’s degree. Game Design and/or Development. In addition to research or creative practice, the candidate should be qualified to teach courses in one or more areas such as digital painting and drawing, 3D modelling and animation, character design and animation, scene design, interactive media, storytelling and narratives, among other related subjects. Candidates are expected to have knowledge and experience of the use of 3D modelling software and games engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
Proficiency in English is required. English is the medium of instruction in the School of Culture and Creativity. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.

Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
