About the Role

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Translational Lymphoma Research group of Professor Jessica Okosun. Our lab aims to understand the biological mechanisms that underpin disease initiation, progression and the different clinical behaviours of specific B- and T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas by investigating intra-tumour heterogeneity, clonal evolution, biomarkers of response and resistance to therapies and developing methodologies to study lymphoma cell populations (Okosun et al, 2014; 2016, Nature Genetics; Araf et al, Leukemia 2018; Poynton et al, Blood Adv 2023; Coulter et al, J Mol Diagn 2024). The successful postdoc will investigate biomarkers of response and resistance to B-cell lymphomas using large cohorts of clinical trial patient samples and employing a combination of molecular and cellular multi-omic approaches at bulk and single-cell level including circulating tumour DNA techniques.

About You

We are seeking highly-motivated researchers with a PhD in molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics or a relevant discipline with strong technical expertise in molecular or cellular biology, immunology and/or omics approaches. Experience with flow cytometry, ctDNA methodologies and bioinformatics would be desirable.
