The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Interactive Media to join our expanding School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

The School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is the fastest growing area at Roehampton, and we welcome applications from academics who can help realise the future ambition of the School.

We have a strong presence in creative practice, education and research, with a reputation for utilising digital technologies across Arts, Humanities, Communication and Design. At the core of what we do is to link education and research to industry and society, with a practice-focused approach.

This job represents the opportunity to take on a pivotal role in building on and expanding the portfolio of programmes across Digital Media, Digital Design, Animation, Games and Interactive Media. Candidates with expertise in interactive design, creative coding, web/mobile app development, or interactive storytelling are strongly encouraged to apply. Additionally, experience of or interest in programme leadership is welcomed.

We are seeking scholars and practitioners whose work addresses the intersection between digital technologies and communications, digital and the arts, or digital and creative computing. In particular we would like to hear from candidates who are excited about the challenges and opportunities of a world in which digital technologies are woven into the fabric of everyday life. The successful candidate will take a leading role in developing new curriculum and programmes, research and teaching, industry links, and collaborative partnerships in those areas.

We are London’s Campus University, based on a beautiful 54-acre parkland campus. This short video will give you a taste of life at our wonderful campus and its excellent facilities.

Academic staff have access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme. Our full range of benefits are available here.
