About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Initial Teacher Education (ITE) Mentoring Co-ordinator to join the Faculty of Education at Edge Hill University in a varied and interesting role. You will provide a range of administrative duties to support the delivery of high-quality and timely mentoring for professional practice across all ITE programmes. 

Demonstrating effective problem solving, organisation and prioritisation skills you will create and implement new systems for recording and monitoring mentor training and to quality assure our ITE Mentoring programmes. You will also prepare reports and interpret data to support effective mentor training evaluation. 

This role provides a rewarding opportunity to work with trainee teachers and their mentors and gain experience of working with colleagues across a range of school settings.

About You

As ITE Mentoring Co-ordinator, you will have:

  • strong organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to create and effectively use tracking systems and quality assurance processes
  • excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of different stakeholders professionally
  • experience of successful administration management and acquiring, interpreting and analysing complex data sets
  • high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
