Senior Lecturer in Real Estate

This post is full-time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.

To strengthen our commitment to delivering high quality education & research we are seeking to recruit talented individuals to join our experienced and dedicated team of academic staff. You will be involved in the development and delivery of a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Real Estate. Our courses are focussed on all aspects of Real Estate development, investment and appraisal. You will also contribute to research and knowledge transfer ensuring we are constantly engaging in sector-leading activity.

Currently we are seeking to maintain and develop our expertise in the delivery of Real Estate Development, investment and appraisal, valuation, Property Finance and Property Law

Successful candidates will possess academic qualifications in a relevant field, appropriate experience in Real Estate or its associated professions, and association with a related Professional Body is desirable. Academic experience is not essential but you will have outstanding communication skills and a commitment to excellence and innovation in learning and teaching, putting student experience at the heart of everything you do.

Senior Lecturers will be expected to work closely with the School Executive, Course Leaders, Module Leaders and other members of the course team. You will contribute to the development and revalidation of courses, teaching materials, methods and assessments as well as leading courses & modules yourself. Duties will include marking and giving feedback, acting as a personal tutor and mentor and providing pastoral support to students. You will also be expected to engage in subject, professional or pedagogic research or other scholarly activities to support your teaching.
