The EPSRC-SFI CDT in Energy Resilience and the Built Environment (ERBE) brings together energy research centres at Loughborough University (LU) and University College London (UCL) with the Marine and Renewable Energy Ireland (MaREI) Centre. The ERBE Centre builds on a decade of experience of high-quality doctoral training to provide a bespoke PhD programme, including: opportunities to work with leading researchers, projects integrated with industry, a comprehensive skills and development programme. ERBE supports about 50 interdisciplinary students working on projects in collaboration with industrial partners. The CDT provides an inclusive training environment to cater to students from diverse backgrounds.

About the role

The post holder will be leading on a new focus on increasing impact and legacy. They will act as the first point of contact for the Centre and provide overall administrative support. They will concentrate on building a student cohort, developing the profile of the Centre by managing and editing its website, coordinating social media platforms and presence, co-writing publicity materials and organising student, network and partnership events.

This post is available from 1 April 2024 and is funded until 31 August 2027 in the first instance, further funding to support the post may be available. About you

The post holder will be computer literate, efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills. - have experience in managing a research centre or consortium or equivalent transferable experience. Experience in project management of multi-stakeholder projects is essential. - have a professional attitude, ability to multitask, independently prioritise workload, proactively work under pressure. Willingness to help and a positive outlook are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.
