Boston University London Programmes is seeking to appoint an experienced Associate Director, Human Resources.
BU London Programmes is the largest of Boston University's (BU) study-abroad programmes, providing the opportunity to study in London for 900-1000 students from the US each year. BU's programme in London provides semester based, academic courses to undergraduate and graduate students in areas of Business, Communications and Media, Economics & Finance, Politics, Law & Social Sciences, and Arts and Humanities.
The Associate Director, Human Resources develops and oversees the Human Resources (HR) and administrative polices of the Boston University London Programmes and provides guidance and support to approximately 80 employees and faculty, including line managers, on all HR matters in London.
The role will work to ensure an inclusive, welcoming, and legally compliant work environment, and will lead the development and growth opportunities for the BU London Programmes staff and faculty. The Associate Director is expected to help set and achieve the HR goals of BU London Programmes, establishing appropriate evaluation tools to measure progress and achievements.

Position Summary:
Associate Director, Human Resources Administration develops and oversees the Human Resources (HR) and administrative polices of the Boston University Global Programs–Study Abroad London Office (BU GP-SA London) and provides guidance and support to approximately 80 line managers, employees and faculty on all HR matters in London. This role works to ensure an inclusive, welcoming, and legally compliant work environment, and leads the development and growth opportunities for the BU GP-SA London staff and faculty. The Associate Director is expected to help set and achieve the HR goals of BU GP-SA London, establishing appropriate evaluation tools to measure progress and achievements. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Associate Director will also assist the health, safety and security team.
The Associate Director will report to both the Director, BU GP-SA London Programs, and the Assistant Vice President, Finance and Operations (based in Boston). They will work in close collaboration with the Academic and Deputy Director BU GP-SA London Programs, and the Executive Director, BU Global Programs-Study Abroad (in Boston).
