As a community safety officer, you will be the ‘face of Warwick’, and a friendly and engaging first point of contact for the thousands of students, staff, business partners, and visitors that come to our beautiful, 750-acre campus every year from around the world.
We have four teams working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and we operate on a ‘4 on, 4 off’, 12-hour shift pattern that consists of two days and two nights and is designed with your wellbeing and work-life balance in mind.
You will be required to work a pattern of two days and two nights of 12 hours duration, followed by four days off, which equates to an average of 42 hours per week.
We offer an excellent salary that reflects the challenging nature of the role, and the professionalism we expect from our team. The salary starts at £35,467.00 (made up from a base rate of £23,144.00, 5.5 hours of contractual overtime a week and a 25% shift allowance).
