Salary: £31,396 to £36,024 pro rata per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £32,982 to £38,205 pro rata is planned to take effect from Spring 2024) (Grade 6)
Hours: Full Time, Part Time
Contract Type: Permanent

The Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for an experienced Research Finance Administrator.

The Opportunity:

The post holder will provide proactive business support for research projects and applications in the Usher Institute. Also to support non-research finance activity as required.

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Knowledge of accounts and budgeting (min HNC or equivalent).
  • Considerable office administration experience.
  • A high level of competence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to use initiative, to cope under pressure, to maintain confidentiality, to meet tight deadlines and show flexibility.
