Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Transportationwithin UCD School of Civil Engineering.
The School is seeking applications from candidates with a sustained record of high-quality peer-reviewed research, particularly related to transportation.
The School of Civil Engineering is a dynamic, research-driven school with a clear focus on delivering excellent research and education. It has an international reputation as a centre for excellence for research and teaching, ranked in the global top 150 for `Civil and Structural Engineering’ (QS Global Rankings), ranking number 1 in Ireland. The School has world-leading researchers in Critical Infrastructure and Water Resources, and is home to the Centre for Critical Infrastructure Research, and the Dooge Centre for Water Resources Research. The successful appointee will have the ability to engage actively in the School’s research and to make a significant contribution to teaching and university life. The School is recruiting suitably qualified candidates, with an expertise relating to its teaching and research activities in transportation. The School has a focus on strengthening its expertise relating to climate change, data analytics, digitisation and renewa ble energy, and is seeking applications from candidates with a background in transportation who can contribute in some or all of these focus areas.
