The Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies at University of Bradford has identified Computer Science as one of its priority areas, both in terms of research and teaching and has embarked on a new initiative to substantially increase its intellectual capacity in this area through investment in new academic staff appointments.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Lecturer positions in Computer Science at the School of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Electronics. We are seeking two highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced candidates to join our busy team. We expect the post holders to work collaboratively with other team members to lead and contribute to the academic, scholarly and professional activities through the delivery and development of taught modules and research initiatives.
Our overarching research themes are: Artificial intelligence, Cyber Security, Computer Networks, and Computational Modelling.
We seek strong candidates whose research aligns with one or more of these themes and applicants who can contribute to expanding our expertise into other areas. Eligible candidates should have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline and possess an excellent track record or demonstrable potential for innovative research and effective teaching.
We expect the post holders to make a significant contribution to research and scholarship, to publish and communicate your work at research meetings and conferences and to attract funding to support and develop these activities.
The post holders should also have a strong commitment to the development of teaching and the curriculum in the above areas. The post holders will be expected to enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary teaching environment and be capable of carrying out high quality work with a diverse range of students.
