The Northern Ireland Clinical Research Facility (NICRF), School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Research Assistant (Optometrist (Clinical co-ordinator) to support and promote the practice of clinical research in the NICRF, for Ophthalmology and Vision Science related studies.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area e.g. Optometry.
  • Registered Optometrist (GOC Registered and appropriate professional indemnity cover). Or eligibility to be registered to fulfil the requirements of the post.
  • Relevant experience in Optometry, post registration.

This is a full-time post however part time hours (minimum of 0.5 fte) and job share arrangements will be considered.
