About the role
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Officer to join the Masterplanning & Space Management team within the Estates, Facilities and Commercial Services Division.
You will provide space and occupancy data management support, informing and identifying ways of improving utilisation of space across the campus. You will make a significant contribution to the planning process and policy development through providing analysis and support on a wide range of space allocation and planning projects.
This role will suit an experienced Data Analyst / Data Officer with space planning background or candidates with strong experience in managing databases, profiling huge volumes of data, and co-ordination, support, and delivery of data projects.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and / or CAD experience is essential.
About you
You will have a degree in data analytics / data science or related field, or an equivalent professional qualification, or relevant knowledge and experience (strong expertise in working with databases / CAFM systems).
You will have the ability to deliver high quality work, with strong attention to details and focus on quality, adhering to relevant standards, processes, and methodology, to tight deadlines.
You will have good inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with the team, line management and stakeholders.
Ideally, you would be from the architectural / building services, space planning, construction, or property management background with a proven track record in a similar role within a large, complex business.
