The role
The Department of Law and Criminology at Aberystwyth University is looking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Law who will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research activities in Law in both Welsh and English as required. The successful candidate will accordingly have excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.
The area of specialisation is open, but we particularly welcome applicants with existing interests in any of the following: public law, criminal law, tort, human rights, commercial law..

The successful candidate will have a post-graduate degree in law or a cognate subject or be close to completing such a PhD, or a postgraduate professional qualification in Law. You will have experience of teaching law through the medium of both Welsh and English. You will be able to work as part of a team and independently.
Candidates applying for this role will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of modules and programmes at undergraduate level; to the pastoral care of students; to such reasonable administrative duties as may be allocated to them and to the monitoring and maintenance of pertinent quality standards.
