Job Summary
The Human Anatomy Unit comprises embalming and prosection facilities, the Dissecting Room, Skills Laboratories and the Pathology Museum.
You will be part of the team supporting the Human Anatomy Unit, specifically the Pathology Museum. You will also be responsible for the production and maintenance of specimen database systems, inventory and conservation duties of the Unit and assist with all organisational and technical duties to deliver the Core Surgical Anatomy and Skills Programmes as well as support all research projects, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching courses run by/in the HAU.
In addition, you will assist with the statutory record keeping required by the Human Tissue Act and health and safety legislation.

This is a full time (35h/pw) and open-ended contract based the Charing Cross Campus at Imperial College London.
Have a flexible approach to working hours is required. Hours will be scheduled via a ROTA between 08:00 & 18:00hrs. Flexible working is required.
A reasonable level of fitness will be required because the post requires lifting with hoists and the manual handling of cadavers.
