An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Core Facilities Team at Manchester Metropolitan University as a Technical Officer - NMR Biomolecular Analysis - Analytical Core Facility.

Our diverse team of technicians ensure that the University functions efficiently and delivers the levels of student experience both our undergraduates and postgraduates deserve and expect of us. Working in specialist laboratories, workshops, studios and IT facilities, our technical professionals play a key role in supporting, guiding, and advising across our University, from sciences, art, design and technology, through to sports, ceramics, nursing and physiotherapy.

About You:
As a Technical Officer - NMR Biomolecular Analysis, the successful candidate will be expected to have experience in nuclear magnetic resonance and chromatography from previous teaching and learning environments or industry. You will also possess knowledge of the analysis and maintenance of instruments.
You will have a flexible approach to work and an ability to work on your initiative, be proactive and strong problem solving skills. Strong communication ability and a commitment to quality service will also be essential in succeeding in this post.
