The Faculty of Epidemiology & Population Health (EPH) are seeking a Faculty Administrator to join a small and friendly team in the EPH Faculty Office and assist with the co-ordination and management of the Faculty’s resources. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Faculty Administrator who is organised, proactive and has a collaborative and flexible approach.
The post-holder will work closely with the Faculty team, the four Department Managers, members of staff in Central Services and the wider LSHTM community. This is a wide-ranging role encompassing Human Resources, Finance, Communications, Events, External Relations and Research Operations and would suit someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. It would also provide an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career in the Higher Education sector, with multiple career progression avenues and excellent in-house training.
The post-holder will have minimum of higher education to A level or equivalent and relevant experience in an administrative role. Proven ability to manage own workload, organising and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines is essential. Further particulars are included in the job description.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE but part-time 21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE will also be considered. The post is permanent and available immediately.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 4 in the range £33,111-£37,298 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
