The opportunity:
We are looking for a laboratory-based research assistant to join a cross-disciplinary drug discovery group focussed on developing new drug therapies for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Located within the School of Medicine, University of Edinburgh, the successful candidate will play an important role in testing drug and drug-combination hypotheses on cell-based models using the latest advances in in vitro cell based assay screening technology. The post will be based between the Centre of Discovery Brain Sciences, the Centre of Clinical Brain Sciences and the Institute of Regeneration and Repair, working together as part of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Edinburgh Centre for MS Research, dedicated to laboratory, translational and clinical research into MS.
