About the Department

Student Success is a newly created department (2022) bringing together services which focus on access, participation and degree outcomes across our diverse student population. We aim to widen participation, improve outcomes and break down barriers to engagement across the whole student lifecycle.

About the Role

This role’s central purpose is to lead work within the department that aims to support successful student journeys and the formation of sustainable and inclusive student communities, in which students are change makers and partners in their education. The role holder will play leading role in our Welcome, Induction & Transition Programme and lead a range of student success interventions.

The Student Success department delivers an engaging programme of communications, events, projects, and interventions across the student lifecycle. This includes innovative engagement opportunities which bring student voice to the forefront of college life as well as proactive approaches to ensure successful student journeys for all.

About the Candidate

We are seeking an experienced student engagement and success practitioner to contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of a scaffolded approach to the student journey, they will be able to use a range of insights to identify key intervention points to plan, deliver and evaluate interventions to support students at these key moments in their journey.
