About the role
The Research Projects Officer will contribute to the development and i mplementation of IIPP’s research strategy, supporting our extensive philanthropic portfolio and the growth of our sponsored research.

What we offer
Research Project Officer’s key responsibilities will include: Act as a first point of contact for post-award queries within the Institute. Support the proposal and contracting process gene rally, and wider research management, as needed. Oversee the process for setting up new accounts and budgets for new awards. Monitor expenditure internally against grant budgets, alerting relevant people on under- or over-spends. Provide financial reports for grant activity in required formats for all relevant project stakeholders, including termly meetings with PIs to report on expenditure. Oversee the tracking, updating, and maintenance of records and files relating to grants and projects, keeping all information confidential and complying with data protection and ethics requirements. Project management of research and policy projects in their initial stages during project team recruitment. Prepare and edit documents for internal and external circulation regarding IIPP’s research.
