We have an industry relevant set of HE courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level with plans to expand and the BA (Hons) Games Design course is part of this development

The College seeks to appoint a highly creative and committed individual to launch our newly validated BA (Hons) Games Design course. Are you an ambitious, energetic, change making pioneer? Then this is your opportunity to author the course you know needs to be delivered to develop the next generation of digital creatives. Work in a dynamic independent arts school with the ability to collaborate across disciplines to develop empowered dynamic creatives for a changing world. The role will include technical and creative teaching whilst developing the ethos and content of the course. Alongside this, you will manage co-ordination and delivery of the course as well as supporting the enhancement of the student experience.

Our broad-based degree explores a broad understanding of games design working within a wide range of disciplines, equipping our students with the professional skills needed to succeed within the industry as it develops. This is a chance to bring new ideas to the table to ensure our students are prepared for the changing shape of modern careers, bring new industry links and a vision for the future of the games industry.

The successful candidate should have proven expertise and professional experience in the field of games design. It is also desirable that candidates will have experience of programme leadership within Higher Education and teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level. HCA employs many dual professionals and has a successful track record of supporting staff to move between industry and education at the start of their academic careers.
