The Enterprise Research Centre (ERC) at Aston University, located in the heart of Birmingham - England’s second largest city - seeks to appoint a highly motivated and talented researcher with the ability and interest in providing excellence in research and impact in the field of small business growth and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics or small business economics (using quantitative methods), excellent analytical and quantitative skills, a track record of producing high-quality research and excellent written and oral communication skills in English. This is a full-time position.
Enterprise Research Centre (ERC) is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, Department for Business and Trade, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, Innovate UK, British Business Bank and the Intellectual Property Office. Established in 2013 it is now the UK’s leading centre of excellence for research into the growth, innovation and productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Our research helps shape better policies and practices that enable SMEs to thrive.
