The College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine is seeking a seasoned, dynamic and innovative Marketing Officer to join our team and lead our postgraduate student attraction and conversion activity. This post will develop and deliver marketing plans to support our growing and successful portfolio of educational programmes. The position is supported by 2 members of staff for whom this post has line-management responsibility.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • You have a wide knowledge and experience of b2c and b2b marketing. You are able to demonstrate experience delivering effective integrated marketing campaigns featuring SEO, social media planning, email marketing, advertising & event management.
  • You are highly analytical, fastidious about tracking performance, measuring impact and extracting evidence from a variety of sources to justify your decisions. You have a very good knowledge of Google analytics and other such data analytics tools.
  • You can demonstrate excellent influencing, interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. You have line management experience, and excel at motivating and energising people. 
  • You can demonstrate excellent organisational & project management skills.
  • You are a creative & innovative individual. You keep up-to-date with development in the marketing landscape and continuously develop your skills.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however we are open to considering flexible working patterns.

We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
